The State Employment Agency is a public legal entity that organizes employment, manages unemployment insurance funds and is responsible for the social protection of job seekers and the unemployed. The Agency analyses the labour market and ensures compliance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Employment”. It works with the relevant government agencies to detect and prevent informal employment and organize education to raise awareness in this regard. The Agency operates under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The State Employment Agency is responsible for ensuring the secure flow of information and the proper processing of collected data. It has to supply, update and install information security software for the secure and complete flow of information between departments and agencies.
ED won the tender to provide and install information security software, announced by the State Employment Agency in the third quarter of 2021.
ED implemented solutions and processes including backup and, if necessary, replication of physical and virtual servers and databases located in the infrastructure. This led to a reduction in information security incidents, ensuring business continuity. Anomalies in all infrastructure facilities are detected and flagged up promptly. Vulnerability is detected before the systems are put into operation, and there is timely detection of data theft and possible fraud cases.
Within this project, the customer's infrastructure was optimized. ED has enabled the client to enhance business value by providing optimization of IT-related activities and employee performance, tracking changes in information system codes, reduction in the number of information security incidents, ensuring the secure storage of system passwords and other solutions.
